At first, I really despised the whole voicethread operation. I had many difficulties in the beginning, but I talked to peers who helped me out a lot. When I finally started recording (and the microphone worked), I loved it! I am not technology savvy in the least bit, but this made me feel very proud. I created something that was well out of my comfort zone and pushed my creativity. I think this would be a great tool to use when doing projects as a future teacher. Students like to feel that type of ownership of their work. It also makes things a lot more interesting and keeps the students engaged. I could not wait to finish the recording and play back my entire story. I am happy with my finished product and could definitely see myself doing something like this with my future students.
Also, I think this would be great for teaming and collaborating. Students could get in groups and create stories or plays with many different voices to add to the characters. I have to say it was pretty cool.
